Captain Colter Stevens, played by Jake Gyllenhaal, goes back to the same place in time over and over and over, in an attempt to stop the bomb exploding on train 8586. For me, '85 and '86 were two great travel years, but many remember 1985/1986 as the years with the highest number of terror incidents the world had ever seen. I was working at a TRUSTHOUSE FORTE hotel in London in 1986, and know that bookings were down all over Europe due to chronic terror threats and activity. The timeline below was created before I saw this film with the train 8586. On this page called TIMELINE, I had already written all about graduating from Riverdale High School on the very same spot that the Civil War's Georgia Campaign had occurred. That paragraph is beside the date 6/4/80... point being location, location, location. As far as 1985 and 1986 goes, 6/13/85, 12/27/85, 7/4/86, and 9/5/86 are pivotal travel dates for me in my first two trips ever to Europe that totaled to 10 months abroad in '85 and '86. Three of those four dates involved a terror strike, all at an airport somewhere. That's covered below. Originally, the LAYORLIAR webpages were organized by subject. After seeing Source Code, I decided that the timeline may be an interesting strategy for this page. Overall, I created this website to ultimately convince you that Robert Thomas Hollis Sr. was Alexei Romanoff, born 8-12-1904, and that events and strategy you see here at the TIMELINE could play great on film. That's explained at the Home Page. Much of the strategy includes New World Order. Some places on the TIMELINE are real life and actually happened, such as 4-28-1961 and 11-23-2009, and the plot contains hints of time travel. The Colter Stevens anagram complements (with an 'e') the many of the events you will read about here. The anagram for Captain Colter Stevens is "SEEN R.C.'s TV TOLE," and of course, "R.C." in the Colter Stevens anagram is the acronym for Royal Crown.

April 28, 1961 - Mom and Dad have been engaged for one month. The Silence is the title of the episode in The Twilight Zone that airs on this day, and it was so strange that the date of "June 3, 1962" was in the script of that episode. I will be born 14 months later; June 4, 1962. This page is under construction. In this episode, lodge member Jamie Tennyson (anagram: "ONE JET. MANY SIN.") spends a full year in a glass house that's built in the lodge basement. June 3, 1962 is also the date of the Air France jet crash that killed more that 100 patrons of Atlanta's High Museum of Art.
August 20, 1961 - Robert Thomas Hollis and Carol Grant Davis marry at Druid Hills Baptist Church in Atlanta.
May 20, 1962 - Two weeks before I'm born, King of the Whole Damn World closes in New York.
June 3, 1962 - Air France Flight 007 crashes in Paris, killing 130 people. No need to visit yet, but if you're interested in more detail, this date link will take you to the wikipedia page that's written about Air France Flight 007.
June 4, 1962 - I was born on this day in Atlanta. Andy Warhol will paint the cover of the New York Mirror from this day, which is titled 129 Die in Jet! Had I known of this painting in elementary school, it would have been my first ever 'claim to fame.' When did Andy paint 129 Die in Jet! ? I don't know. (IDK) Click this date to see Andy's work.
June 4, 1963 - I celebrate my first birthday. The U.S. has issued a stamp on this same day. Click the date for a really neat anagram made from this stamp. I think 'PA' in the anagram stands for Pennsylvania?
November 22, 1963 - President John F. Kennedy is assassinated. I was 18 months old, and yet still know what I was doing that day. Click the date for a photograph.
November 24, 1971 - D.B. Cooper is the name of the individual that stages one of the most dramatic and memorable hijackings in history takes place. He jumps from the aircraft. Visit this page to see how R.T. Hollis is implicated by an FBI informant.
August 6, 1974 - A trip to California to visit Aunt Ruth in San Bernardino CA. Ruth O. Harris was born Ruth Timms in East Point GA. in 1908. Ruth was my Grandma Lois' sister. Ruth was 5 years old and living in the same east Point neighborhood as Mary Phagan when the murder occurred at the Pencil Factory in 1913. However, this date link includes only the events of August 6, 1974, and the bomb explosion at the LA Airport that day as me and the family were going from baggage claim to the hotel shuttle.
August 4, 1975 - A date I never forgot. I was with several other kids moving rocks that had been unearthed by the installation of a neighbor's new swimming pool when my Mom called for me. It was time to leave for the orthodontist to have braces put on. The braces were removed in March 1977. Click this link to see what's happening in the news that week. June 1976 - Take on Me is the song you get to from this page. It seems themed with the anagram you will see at this page, which is "KEN H. UP AT SAME GAME. HA! HA! HA!" It's all about the comics! I am very close to knowing a few people who will own 'never before seen' product-lines in their house such as $300 telephone answering machines, $300 VCR tape recorder/players, and cable boxes for television.
September 22, 1977 - Ipatiev House, where the Romanov's were executed in July 1918, is torn down in the Soviet Union. Russian dancer Kristina Rihanoff (anagram: "R.K.H. AN I OFF. IT'S RAIN."), and Vietnamese singer/dancer/actress Thu Minh (anagram: "HUNT HIM.") are both born on this same day. Me personally on this day, I am into my third week of double sessions at Riverdale Junior High School, attending classes only 5 hours a day. The brand new Riverdale Senior High School building will be open after we return from Christmas break in January. I am in 10th grade and will be in the schoo first graduating class. There is never a higher class above me at Riverdale High. Principal Cobb will later allow a production crew on campus to film some of the students for a network special titled Reading, Writing and Reefer.
June 4, 1980 - I am in the first graduating class from Riverdale Senior High School in Riverdale, GA. The ceremonies were on my 18th birthday at Tara Stadium on Battle Creek Road in Jonesboro, GA. This stadium is in a historic location. When The Battle of Jonesboro was lost during the Civil War, Atlanta was evacuated, and the crucial Georgia Campaign was lost. The two heaviest days of fighting were August 31 and September 1, 1864, which ironically are in that traditional 'back to school' week on the quarter system. In June 1980 I celebrate my second full year at the Krystal hamburger restaurant. Billygate will start in July, and my new 'claim to fame' will be those days that President Carter's brother stopped in at the restaurant on his way to the Columbus Georgia hearings.
September 1980 - Freshman at Clayton Jr. College, and published in the local paper who took photos at Orientation.
June - August 1981 - begin classes at Universidad Americana in Mexico City with USG's (University System of Georgia) Studies Abroad program. At the end of the program, we took a week vacation on the Merida peninsula, and from there on to the island of Cozumel where we were kicked out of the hotel by Fidel Castro and his entourage. January 1983 - I begin classes at University of GA. Work earning ten percent commission as an ad rep at The Red and Black Newspaper in Athens, GA and startled that I'm making more money than at the minimum wage Krystal restaurant job. April 27, 1983 - My first skydiving experience with three other UGA students at Westwind Sport and Parachute Center in Jackson GA.
January- April 1985 - Governor's Intern Program with Department of Industry and Trade. Worked in the Georgia Tourism Division, and assisted on projects with the GA Film Division on Peachtree Street in Atlanta. Senator Sam Nunn's office was directly below us. Yet another 'claim to fame.' Everybody Wants to Rule the World is released March 18.
April 5, 1985 - We Are the World plays at the same time on radio stations all across the U.S. I was at work with the Tourism Division that day. I return to Athens GA a few days later for my last quarter.
June 4, 1985 - my UGA college final in Advertising law and credits for graduation are completed.
June 7, 1985 - Leave Athens, GA to spend week in Springfield, VA with friend who will take me to the People Express counter in D.C. for a $33 shuttle flight to Newark, New Jersey.
June 13, 1985 - Arrive in New York for three days of touring.
June 14, 1985 - TWA Flight 847 hijacked out of Athens Greece. Reagan threatens to close airport to all U.S. carriers. Corey Hart's Boy in the Box released. USPS first day issue stamp of first lady Abigail Adams (anagram: "GA. MAIL A 'BAD.' "
June 16, 1985 - I leave for Greece from New York as scheduled with Club Europa students on last U.S. flight allowed into Athens airport.
July 2, 1985 - TWA hostages released.
July 5, 1985 - I return to New York from Athens, Greece.
July 9, 1985 - Disc camera photos left with Fotomat. One roll is missing. The New York Post front page reads MADONNA: "I'M NOT ASHAMED." Photographer Herman Kulken's nude pics of Madonna taken years earlier will be published in Penthouse in September.
July 26, 1985 - Your Love by The Outfield recorded at Air Studio in London. Released in November on the Play Deep album.
August 1, 1985 - We Built this City by Jefferson Starship released. "...someone stole the stage..."
August 2, 1985 - Weird Science was released in theaters near you. It was a blockbuster with a phenomenal soundtrack from Oingo Boingo. Nerdy Gary Wallace and Wyatt Donnelly bring to life a magical doll named Lisa that helps with their goal to become popular with the other high school students. August 1985 - Purchase BUNAC permit to work in London for $72.
September 26, 1985 - Fotomat Miami office calls in response to my letter of complaint, and gives me the phone number for Carol at their Atlanta Customer Service Office. Customer Service Office says that Carol will return from vacation on Monday.
September 28, 1985 - It's published in the Atlanta paper that Prince Andrew's book titled Photographs will be released on Monday, 9/30.
September 29, 1985 - Learn on the local evening news that a skydiving plane crash at Westwind Sport Parachute Center has killed 17 people.
September 30, 1985 - In the morning paper, discover that my former skydiving instructor Jeff Saunders was among the plane crash victims. Also find that Carol Gordon with Fotomat was killed in the crash. Contact Customer Service Department and am told that the lost film has been found and I can retrieve it at the booth in Riverdale on Tuesday. Click on this date to see the morning paper. November 12, 1985 - Your Love is released by The Outfield. "Josie's on a vacation far away..." This video is seen at the November 17 date link directly below.
November 17, 1985 - After much media coverage on shows such as Entertainment Tonight, NBC's made-for-TV movie Hostage Flight airs. The first ending of the film is not permitted to be broadcast by the FCC, since the hijackers are hanged by the passengers, so a different ending was filmed. The hijackers are overtaken by passengers and tied up to be taken into custody when the plane lands. In re-runs, the hanging version is used, and in Europe in 1986, the movie aired with the hanging version concluding the movie. I watched the film here and also in London in 1986.
November 24, 1985 - Burger King launches the "Where's Herb" ad campaign on all 3 major networks. Herb is guaranteed to be in one of the 50 states and if you site him you'll win cash. December 27, 1985 - I depart for London. Abu Nidal (anagram: "DIAL A BUN.") is blamed for the assault on the airports in both Rome and Vienna that left 20 dead.
December 28, 1985 - I arrive in London. The British rock group Sly Fox releases Let's Go All the Way. I purchase my London tube card this week, and years later discover the cryptic link to the number 7239. That is explained at the link here. January 1, 1986 - New Years Eve spent at the hotel in London and at Trafalgar Square. Madness is among others in concert. The movie Ghandi plays on the BBC. A week later, I become employed with the Hotel Cavendish London as barman.
June 23, 1986 - Still employed at the Cavendish, and am required to take a week off since I was approaching a 6 month mark. Decided to take a vacation in Scotland. Click the date like above to see what my diary entry is for June 23, 1986.
July 4, 1986 - The Statue of Liberty turns 100. I depart Dover for Oostende, Belgium to begin two months of Eurorail travels.
July 15, 1986 - I go with Marie (Australian) from West Berlin into East Berlin through the famous Check Point Charlie. We spend about 8 hours there touring the communist city. Most interesting was the dingy grocery store with 1940's shopping carts and with fridges caked with ice (not frost-free) and room temp sealed milk that came with 'shake before serving' instructions. All foreigners were able to see the grocery stores after making it through Check Point Charlie. I believe that the producers of the Sly Fox video (which was released the same day I arrived in London) were among those that remembered to get a 'slice of life' at an East German grocery store. September 5, 1986 - My last full day in Europe. I mail a postcard to myself from the U.N. in Geneva. In , four Pakistani men claiming to be with the Abu Nidal Organization seize Pan Am Flight 73, and after several hours, the stand-off ends with the deaths of 22 of the passengers and crew. In 2016, the film Neerja is released. Neerja Bhanot was the heroic flight attendant who lost her life in the attack on the aircraft.
September 6, 1986 - I return to the U.S. on Swiss Air. In Atlanta, the art show Tight Squeeze is under way. Gorbachev pens a letter to President Reagan, which has been uploaded to the link at the September 5, 1986 date. The letter is about U.S. News and World Reports reporter Nicholas Daniloff, who was detained on August 30 in the USSR, and who is being charged with espionage on Sept. 6.
October 6, 1986 - In Atlanta, the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library opens with President Ronald Reagan in attendance giving a speech. I've arrived early for a good seat and am startled that Caroline Kennedy is sitting right across the aisle from me. A Korean who becomes the actor Yoo Ah-in is born. Yoo is known for leading roles in Punch, Secret Love Affair, Six Flying Dragons, and The Throne, and a cameo in Descendants of the Sun. Two of his older sisters run Studio Concrete, an art gallery in South Korea.
October 3, 1986 - Huey Lewis's hit Stuck with You drops from the #1 top Billboard spot after three weeks. The name of his yacht in the video anagrams to "MY TOT."
December 21, 1988 - Pan Am Flight 103 explodes over Lockerbie Scotland. With the resulting trial that followed, the holistic event became New World Order. 4 years later, at Delta Air Lines, I was working with a Syracuse University graduate that had the college annual with so many students gone so soon. I was able to relate, because as you know from this page, I have flown to Mexico and to Greece with college tour groups. The Pops Place comic from the Atlanta Paper on this day is at Page 1. January 13, 1989 - K-Mart Apparel Corporation promotes me to the 'Jimmy Carter store' in Norcross, GA. This is a few miles north of Atlanta, and obviously on Jimmy Carter Blvd. I am disgruntled with K-Mart's fifty hour workweek for managers, and am happy that I am positioned to interview for better jobs in the Atlanta market. March 26 - April 08, 1990 - It's my third year with Kmart, and I take both vacation weeks to visit my old haunts in London, England. The Poll Tax Riots occur while I'm there.
March 19, 1987 - October 2, 1990 - Working at Kmart Apparel Corporation, a subsidiary of Kmart, as an Apparel/ Soft Lines manager. We manage about 40% of the floor space.

August 17, 1998: Delta Air Lines sends me and several Materiel Management personnel to Washington D.C. We spent five days in Project Management Classes at the Watergate Hotel that are sponsored by George Washington University. January 7, 1999 - I leave Delta Air Lines.

June 1, 2001 - At dinner, Nepal's Crown Prince Dipendra assassinates his father, King Birendra, and eight other members of the royal family. Dipendra commits suicide the next day.

June 9, 2003 - How do you get 7,000 people together to be photographed naked? I have no idea, but he started it in Europe. I saved this Spencer Tunick photo that ran in the Atlanta paper on this day. August 25, 2006 - It's R.T.H. Jr.'s 73rd birthday, and NBC News reports that Pluto was reclassified yesterday as a dwarf planet by the International Astronomical Union.
May 21, 2008 - At a ceremony in the White House, President George Bush signs the Genetic Information Non-Discrimination Act. It will go into effect in 18 months, which will also be the 100th birthday of Robert Thomas Hollis, Sr.
February 3, 2009 - Thin Thread is spyware used by the NSA and that's at this link along with 'art,' but this date is when The Spy Factory aired in Atlanta.
