Gomez Addams and his doppelganger William Booker Davis

William Booker Davis (anagram:  "I'M BROKE. WAS ILL.  AVOID."), from the 1890's South Georgia, looks much like actor John Austin, who played Gomez Addams (anagram:  "DO M-MAD GAZES.") in the 1960's television sitcom The Addam's Family.  The two anagrams complement each other, which is the reason this page was created.

William Booker Davis was one of the sons of Mason Gideon Davis, and his wife Elizabeth Wellons.  John Wesley Davis, to the far right, was my great grandfather on Mom's side of the family.  He died in 1922.

This was an amusing page from Clive Cussler's book Piranha.  I found this last year while doing some IPL homework.

Thanks to an unknown 'not too distant cousin' for posting these photos at ancestry.com.
