Switched at Birth fun

The 20/20 episode was titled Switched at Birth, and ran on Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, 2019.  The national news story played out in the late 80's, a few years after Regina Twigg discovered that her daughter, Arlena Twigg, who had died after a long illness, was not her biological daughter. The switch had occurred in the hospital in 1978.  It was the same month that Germany was closing OPERATION AUTUMN LEAVES, October 1988, that Kim Mays (above) was told by her father Bob, that her biological parents were Earnest and Regina Twigg.   In spite of Bob May's objections,  the case was going to finally be allowed on a court's docket here in the United States.

Mark Twain is credited with the quote:  "Truth is stranger than Fiction, but it is because Fiction is obliged to stick to possibilities.  Truth isn't."   The point here is that with the amazing advance play tools offered by Wixsite, I am able to make my time travel machine photograph slowly appear over The Parent Trap movie poster.  And the reason I've done that....

... is because the photo above is of Mrs. Regina Twigg, whose baby was switched.  Mrs. Regina Twigg looks identical to Haley Mills in 1961 film The Parent Trap.  Mrs. Regina Twigg provided the old photo of herself above for the 20/20 producers for the Switched at Birth episode.  The photo and the amazing similarity to Haley Mills makes Switched at Birth look like a time travel story to me.  Truth is stranger than fiction.  The real-life baby Arlena Twigg hospital switch in 1978 is not the first time that a newborn wound up in a place that it should not have been.

In the Senta Berger film, The Swiss Conspiracy (1976), the face of a set of U.S. triplets that were separated at birth in July 1961 can be found.  Before I show the clip of The Swiss Conspiracy, let's look at an early 1980's photo of the triplets at were separated at birth.  This photo was used for their 2018 CNN film titled Three Identical Strangers.

Eddy Galland, David Kellman, and Robert Shafran were triplets that were born on July 12, 1961, and then separated at birth for adoption.   Two of them were reunited on a college campus in 1980 by a student who had met Eddy first.  The media coverage of twins finding each other led to the discovery of the third.  The photo above might have been taken on the set of Madonna's film Desperately Seeking Susan, which is where the three had a movie background extra cameo appearance at the foot of some sidewalk stairs.  Four years before the triplets meet, their face can be seen in The Swiss Conspiracy.  Study the face in the center of the photo above before viewing the 42-second video below:

If you have known me since elementary school you could claim that I have a cameo in this clip.  But that's not me in the green jacket being followed by the two women with the baby stroller.  However, you will recognize the face shown at the very end of this 42-second clip.  Facial recognition technology picked up the triplet faces from school annuals prior to the 1976 release of The Swiss Conspiracy, and it was agreed that the release of the Spanish version of The Swiss Conspiracy would include letters in the movie title that would make note of the still officially undiscovered triplets should questions arise at a later date.  The movie poster is below, and...

... the anagram of "per Saldo MORD" is "ME POOR LADS, DR."

Yes, the Indie film was released in 2018.  The trailer is above.  On-line they mention the 'experiment' they were involved in, and those with adoption social services that would visit their houses as they were growing up.  They know of other separated at birth twins, but they do not know if there were any that did not know they had a twin.

It's a subject that's been made fun of and parodied even before Mark Twain's The Prince and the Pauper.  Though not the plot of his story, a stolen twin may have been one of Prince Edward's first thoughts when he saw his doppelganger Tom Canty.  BTW, I liked the book alot.

One of the movies based on Mark Twain's book was released May 7, 1962; less than a month before my birth.

In this episode of The Brady Bunch, Two Petes in a Pod, Christopher Knight discovers that a knew guy that could pass as his twin brother has enrolled at school.

Here they are again.  Strangely enough, in real life, about 10 years after The Brady Bunch left the air, I became cousins with an Oliver by marriage.

Now, back to me...

June 4, 1962 was a dramatic day for Atlanta.  I was born.  Plus, Andy Warhol painted the cover of the New York Mirror from that day, which was about Air France Flight 007; a chartered jet carrying more than 100 patrons of the Atlanta's High Museum of Art back to GA.  I always wondered why Warhol painted the cover of the newspaper from the day I was born.  Was there more to it than the information at the ROYAL ANAGRAMS tab?  Could I have a stolen brother living in Seattle, or in the former USSR?  In 1962, U.S. women giving birth in a hospital were always unconscious.

When I returned from a family Thanksgiving outing on that Friday in November, I turned on the TV, and there's the 20/20 episode titled...

...Switched at Birth, and the old 1992 clip of Barbara Walters interviewing Kim Mays.  It was the piece of carol on the nightstand that caught my eye.  Carol is my mom's name.  The coral prop is what started this TAB at the LAYORLIAR webpage.  When Switched at Birth aired in November 2019, I had already done more than 250 of the....

WORD SEARCH puzzles that sometimes have a cryptic message similar to the same one theme as the one above, and also like the one...

...you see here.  And still another one is...

...below.  Obviously, others are thinking the same thing.

If you're using your personal computer at my web page right now, you can see why I would have been convinced that I had  found the stolen one if this newspaper clipping were 1975; the year of my pet rats.

And the same here with this NIGHT VISION toy box, except this was at Kmart in March 2011.

And here's another one....

...from January 2020 on CBS.

Puzzling.  Seriously though, if you like They Might Be Giants, you'll like Clem Snide.

Goes nowhere for this page, but I liked the tune:

Navigate

The links below will navigate you through much of the web page here.  ROYAL ANAGRAMS virtually validates all of the work and research you find here.  You will believe everything read and implied when you know the ROYAL ANAGRAMS, plus you are more likely to remember most of it too.  Some stories here started long before the birth of Prince Charles in 1948.  Visit ROYAL ANAGRAMS first, so that you understand the points made at other pages.  From ROYAL ANAGRAMS, visit the HOME page, and read the goals of the LAYORLIAR website.  As you read at the HOME page, one goal is to prove that Alexei Romanov is under the RTH, Sr. grave marker seen below. -- In the HOME icon, Alexei is pictured in striped swim trunks like the 1959 1st edition Barbie.  The guitarist with Cheap Trick wears a similar top in the 1982 hit She's Tight.  I recommend the  Intellectual Property Law (IPL) tab next, which includes the Andy Warhol painting of the newspaper that was published the day I was born.  Plus the book titled Fourth of June from 1962 (my day and year of birth), along with more movie clips and doppelgangers.  After IPL go anywhere. ---- Click the Robert Thomas Hollis (anagram:  "OL' BIRTH SHAMS TO ROLE.") grave marker to read about HR493, which the Genetics Information Non-Discrimination Act, which went into effect on the 100th birthday of RTS, Sr. The DOPPELGANGERS icon is a small introduction of family photos and the look-a-like royals, models, celebs, etc. ---- There is more of that at the TWILIGHT ZONE tab.  Remember what happened to Dan Hollis at Anthony Freemont's birthday party?  The Twilight Zone is peppered with WORD SEARCH puzzles, and information on a few episodes which have already been identified as your favorites. DUGOUT WITH WEIRD SCIENCE is as macabre as TWILIGHT ZONE. From there, tour the pages of TWA847, PAN AM FLIGHT 103,  and ON MY LAST FULL DAY IN EUROPE (PAA73) for airplane drama.  SPY GAMES LEO and RKH tabs are meant to entertain you mostly, but will also assist you in 'decrypting' secret 'babble' planted in movies, tv shows, books, puzzles, etc.  And finally, McDONALD'S BRICK explains the purpose of jots.  Save that tab for the end of your tour of the LAYORLIAR webpage.
