November 24, 1971

Northwest Airlines Flight 305 is hijacked

by a man who boarded as 'Dan Cooper.'

Dan Cooper jumped from the aircraft somewhere between Seattle and Reno with $200,000 in cash.  With fame, his new alias  became D.B. Cooper, and he is the subject of several books.  So how was R.T. Hollis a suspect as D.B. Cooper?  As you see below... 

...one of the names sent to the FBI was Garnett Hollish.  The anagram is "THEN R.T. HOLLIS.  GA."  The page above is from the Geoffrey Gray book.  

In February 1980, $5,800 of the money was found, but the case has never been solved.
