re: PAA 103 crash
As Steven Berry has written below in the footnotes of his novel from 2013, the release of Abdel Basset al-Megrahi is at the heart of The King's Deception.

With The King's Deception, there is more than one way to 'decrypt' the favors that Steven Berry's information sources required from the publisher. For example, Cotton Malone character's anagram is "O... T.O.C. MAN LET ON." T.O.C. stands for Technical Operations Center, which is also called the 'tech ops' or the 'jet base' at Delta Air Lines (DAL), one of my former employers. Kathleen Richards (anagram: "KEN'S RICH EH? D.A.L. RAT.") works for SOCA, and has a pivotal role with Malone in the novel. In the novel, the CIA's investigation into PAA103 is called OPERATION KING'S DECEPTION. Enough about the novel. There may be a few newspaper articles that some invited readers here may have missed through the years. Most interesting was the Faith Pescatori civil win in Uniondale, NY on April 18, 1995. It is most interesting because it was a day after the verdict that the FBI Alfred P. Murrah Federal building in Oklahoma City was blown up:

Above, an amusing 100 plus year old postcard that mocks the Bundeskriminalamt (BKA - Germany's federal investigative police force) investigation's code name OPERATION AUTUMN LEAVES, which took place a few months PRIOR to the jet's explosion over Lockerbie Scotland. Interesting note that the captain of TWA847, whose June 1985 hijacking odyssey is at the link below, was named TESTRAKE; a name which complements (with an 'e') the BKA's code name; i.e., autumn leaves are 'raked.' And below... a couple of pages from Steve Emerson and Brian Duffy's book, THE FALL OF PAN AM 103, which covers OPERATION AUTUMN LEAVES. There is no mention of Abdel Basset al-Megrahi in this book which sold at the Honolulu airport in September 1990.

And here's an example marketing OPERATION AUTUMN LEAVES that gives the office decor sales rep a wall ornament product that will deliver a message of inspiration, optimism, and motivation.
The images in Paramore's Brick by Boring Brick video reminded me of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, but the cryptic use of the AUTUMN LEAVES here has earned it the spot here, rather than the McDonald Brick tab, or at John Dempsey's tab. When your head's in the clouds, it sounds like the song lyrics were inspired by a government employee that sits at the computer updating the 'no-fly' list. How long will that be tolerated? Actually, according to Obama, it's already gone. And what an ending this video has! The amazing performer's face you see above, Haley Nichole Williams, was born 12-27-1988, less than a week after the PAA103 explosion.

And finally, an antithesis to AUTUMN LEAVES seems to be BRIGHT LEAF, which was a 1950 film starring Patricia Neal. I 'won' this autographed copy of a theater placard at an antique store in Peachtree City in February 2020. The Patricia Neal anagram is "A C.I.A. LINE TRAP."

On May 15, 2006, the US restored diplomatic ties with Libya. I saved Atlanta's 'tv day,' which is published above. May 15, interestingly enough, was the name of the group led by Colonel Hawari, who as you see from the Newsweek block above, was one of the suspects in the PAA103 explosion. Prince Harry's new wife Meghan Markle was probably on TV that night in Deal or No Deal. The future POTUS was patronizing Wal-Mart that night on NBC's The Apprentice. Enjoy the Ride became a neat music video by Krewella, keys and all. President John Adams was featured on PBS that night in American Experience. The 'first day issue' of his wife Abigail's U.S. postage stamp was released June 14, 1985, which was the same day that TWA Flight 847 was hijacked out of Athens Greece. My Club Europa college trip to Greece on Tower Air out of New York was nearly canceled, which is why I have the TWA847 tab here at wixsite.
