Andy Warhol painted 129 Die in Jet!, which is the front page of the New York Mirror from 6-4-1962; i.e. the date-of-birth of RKH. Most passengers were with the High Museum of Art, which had chartered this Air France jet.
Decades later, I accepted this postcard of the Air France 707 that was postmarked 6-3-1962, the same day as the crash. Note how the postmark hit the front of the card, leaving the stamp not canceled. Two of my parents friends were killed in the crash from Paris back to Atlanta: Mr. & Mrs. Charles Shaw of Druid Hills Baptist Church.
I wish I remembered Julie Newmar in this 1959 episode of The Twilight Zone. Click on her left horn to go to THE TWILIGHT ZONE page and see which Christmas episode premiered the same week that I was born. Rockwell's 1983 video Somebody's Watching Me is there too... and below:
