1910
It was 1910 when the census enumerator went to East Point Georgia and knocked on every door in the city. Great Grandma Eula Timms was two months pregnant, and the November born daughter would become my grandmother, Lois Timms. Lois' brother, Uncle Albert, is in school with the Phagan kids, who are also recorded in this same 87 page 1910 census of East Point, GA.

Great grandpa Christ C. Timms is recorded on the 1910 Thirteenth Census of the U.S. Eula E is his wife. Albert is the oldest son. The oldest daughter, Eula C., became the mother of a White House photographer. I never met Norma, and hope I have her name correct. Harold married Eloise Creel, who was 4 years old when her father purchased a house that's a short walk from my home in Riverdale. Vivian I never met. Ruth O. moved to San Bernadino with her husband Ernie Harris in the 1950's. We attended the early 1990's ceremony where she was recognized for her 40-plus years of work in public education system with the opening of Ruth O. Harris Jr. High, which is in Ontario, CA. Elizabeth, only six months old in 1910, caught a cold and died in infancy a year or two after Lois was born November 23, 1910. Lois married Robert Thomas Hollis, Sr., who you recall from the HOME tab.
